Contest Caller information from the Calendar   Andrew ONeill
Hometown:   Sauquoit, NY USA
I really got into waterfowl hunting in 2004, when my Dad and I went on a guided hunt in the Finger Lakes of NY during the September season. I loved to see the geese committ to calling, and after that I was hooked. I purchased a Buck Gardner Canada Hammer II and practiced, practiced, practiced. Me and my Dad also purchased 12 GHG Full Bodies and we went on our first hunt over decoys in October 2004. We called in four flocks and shot our limit in 45 minutes and I was positively hooked for life. After a year of hunting, I decided I wanted to get into contest calling. My first contest was Redhead Junior Goose in Auburn, NY. 2006 has been my biggest year so far, as far as waterfowling and contest calling goes. In January I was first Runner-Up in both Junior Duck and Open Goose at the North Eastern Sports Show Calling Contest in Syracuse, NY. In August I got First at the Redhead Junior Goose contest in Auburn, NY.
