| The Delaware Bay Open Novice Goose is OPEN to all callers who have never won another Novice, Regional, State, or Open goose calling contest. Entry fees are $25 per person. Registration opens at 8:00am and contests start at 9:00am. 1st place receives 50% of entry fees, 2nd place receives 30% of entry fees, and 3rd place receives 10% of entry fees. The remaining 10% goes towards plaques. 1st through 3rd places also receive plaques and prizes. 3 rounds, 90 seconds per round. Callers have 10 minutes before start of all contests to register. It will be held in part with the Captain Bones Waterfowl Show in Odessa, Delaware at the store located one mile south of town on Route 13 south bound lane.
