| Social Networking at CallingDucks.com |
| The CallingDucks.com style of social networking is designed to bring all the players in the waterfowl hunting world, minus the birds, together in an environment where information can be shared. We have taken the models that are popular on the web and combined them into a hybrid model that we feel fits the needs of today’s waterfowl hunter. |

| Everyone can participate |
| Anyone and everyone who participates in the social networking here at CallingDucks.com is first and foremost a “user”. Users have profiles that they can manage. Users can make “Friend Connections” with other registered users in order to allow for the sharing of content between them. Comments, status updates, field reports, and other interactions with features on the site can trigger a notification to a user’s friends. They can go back and forth with comments, send messages in private, share Media links, news, events, etc. To learn more about everything you can do as a registered user at CalingDucks.com, please visit our MEMBERSHIP page. |
| Ownership of our Managed Content |
| Some registered users on CallingDucks.com will have an interest in being linked to some of the managed content on the site. Managed content includes, but is not limited to, company listings, product listings, scheduled events, calling contest information, and other site features driven by our databases. While registered users on the site might help input some of this data, we protect it with editorial control in order to try and assure the quality of the information. When possible, we will try to link, or associate, registered users on the site with the managed content that pertains directly to them, the companies they own, or the events they manage. |
| Administrators and Editors |
| Some registered users on the site will have an elevated status in terms of available options in the social networking model because they are administrators or editors on the site. Administrators, of course, will have the ability to control ALL content. Editors will have the ability to approve certain content. These functions will allow Administrators and Editors to work outside the bounds of “friend connections”. Bottom line, Administrators will have the ability to view and control any content from any user. Editors will have the ability to view and control selected content from any user. Both will be able to send messages to any user, or to a group of users, whose content they are affecting. |
| Sponsors (Companies that advertise) |
| The companies that choose to advertise with CallingDucks.com have the option of participating in the social networking model on the site. They will have a user account that is associated with their company and that can participate in the social networking interactions AS that company. They will be in complete control of the profile for their company and may be able to send messages/updates to registered users on the site who have elected to “Follow” their company. They will be able to update the content of their company profile and manage how they are represented in certain site features (search engines). |
| Some sponsors will also be able to allow other registered users on the site to represent them as Pro Staff. These Sponsor Pro Staffers will have the ability to tag some of the content that they enter with the company(s) they are pro staff for. |

| Companies (Non Sponsor) |
| A critical part of the managed content at CallingDucks.com centers around the companies listed in our databases. While any registered user of the site can submit company information, that doesn’t guarantee that they will have future ownership of that information once it is approved by editors and released on the site. The site will provide the capability for the actual owners or delegated representative for a company listed in our databases to be have their user account linked to the company profile. This link will allow them to manage the information related to the company’s listing in our databases in order to help ensure quality and validity of the information. However, they will NOT be permitted to participate in the social networking model of the site as the company. They, the registered user associated with the company profile, will simply be a normal user that is bound by rules of our social networking model. In short, they will not be able to step outside their “friend connections” nor interact with the registered users who are following their company, nor will they have any affiliated pro staff in our social networking model. |

| Callers |
| We have thousands of notable individuals listed in our database. Most of them are contest callers. Their caller profiles contain personal information including their name, hometown, and any particulars relating to calling contests, companies, and events they have been associated with. The social networking model at CallingDucks.com allows us to link a registered user to a caller profile so that the registered user can maintain the information associated with their profile, as well as participate in the social networking model of our site as a Caller. Proving ownership of a caller profile can and will be difficult because of the sheer number that are in our system. A registered user of CallingDucks.com will only be linked to a caller profile once they have met the burden of proof to prove that they are in fact the individual represented by the caller profile. |

| Event Organizers |
| Events can be submitted by any registered user at CallingDucks.com. Like other submissions, once the vetting process (editorial approval) is complete then that information cannot be updated by anyone other than a site Administrator or Editor. There are exceptions to this rule that allow for a registered user to be linked to event(s) and participate in the social networking model as the Event Organizer. |
| If the selected “reach” (Regional, State, Zip Code, Private) for a submitted event is set to “private”, then the submitting user will be the tagged as the owner of the event listing. Since it is private, only registered users who have been invited to the event will see it. In the case of private events, the original submitting registered user will have the ability to edit the particulars for the event, and they will even be able to grant other registered users the ability to manage it as well. |
| In the case of events that are submitted as having a “reach” beyond private, ownership of the Event, and thus the released information pertaining to the event, can be associated with a registered user. The burden of proof required to prove that the submitted event is actually under the control of a particular user lies with that user, and not with CallingDucks.com, our administrators, staff, or editors. If a registered user can meet this burden of proof then they can be associated with a particular event so that they can provide updates for it, thus participating in the social networking model at CallingDucks.com. |
| There will be some registered users of CallingDucks.com who are known by us as official Event Organizers, most likely organizing more than one each year or over multiple years. These individuals will be granted the privilege to submit and automatically be associated with events that are above the reach of private. They will be able to manage all aspects of the event and participate in the social networking model as a full-fledged Event Organizer. |
