Cluck'Dinner call!! Shortened down honk! Clucks kill geese and are generally the most used call by hunters and geese. Clucks followed by moans are bread and butter hunting calls!'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting, Comeback

Honk'Honk is the shorten version of a hail call. Seldom used, it is not as aggressive or powerful as a hail. It is the basis for goose calling; in general most notes are based from a honk.'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting

Moan'The second part of the deadly cluck and moan. Very practical call for many aspects of goose calling. Mixed in with clucks it is used in almost all situations.'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting, Comeback, Laydown

Murmur'Low end call used when geese are working close. Mixed in with clucks and moans is a nice finesse call, can be used on quite days or days when other calls are blowing the geese out!'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Laydown

Double-Cluck'A high and low cluck or in general two different sounding clucks (ook ick)'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting, Comeback

Spit Note'An aggressive comeback call or long distance attention (greeting) call.'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting, Comeback

Hail Call'Attention call or long distance call is used to attract geese or begin a contest routine. Not used very often in hunting situations.'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting

Train'Making the mouth cavity smaller by pushing your tongue up and forcing air across it will vibrate the reed enough to get what is called the train sound. I have used this sound in almost all situations, as this is truly a goose sound. At times this call will turn birds on a dime if you let them get by you first and then hit them with a train.'

 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting, Comeback, Laydown

Willis'A goosey sound that reminds me of the tube call. To me it is a variation of a moan that works nice when geese are floating in or circling your spread. Choke the call down and say “koo” hard.'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting, Laydown

Grunt Honk'When you use voice inflection by humming or grunting the first part of your note, you get a guttural sounding honk.'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting

Buzz Cluck'A high pitch raspy cluck, It is a different sounding cluck that stands out when done right. Mixed in with other clucks and moans or done alone it is a sound I use more often. To me it sounds like a young small goose that’s full of corn.'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting

Clear Honk'When you blow through your call with out any voice inflection you get a clear smooth honk that is usually higher in pitch'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting

Push Moan'This is an aggressive moan made by extending the end of your honk; you would blow through that note after the reed breaks over and drag it out a bit!'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Comeback

Quick Spit'Similar to a quick cluck but higher pitch in sound. Another call that can be aggressive as a come back or attention call or soften up for a greeting call.'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Greeting, Comeback

Quiver Cry'Basically a spit moan with a shake or wobble to it: Can be heard by geese on occasion when approaching live birds in a field or on water. I use this as a comeback to mimic birds coming into land, this makes the birds you are calling curious, thinking other birds just landed.'
Listen...
 Venue: Hunting, Contest
 Situation: Comeback
